WHO AM I
My life has been a life of travel and being among people. Its been a life of God given privilege. A very blessed life. Getting the Fulbright fulfilled one of life's ambition: spending longer time in Africa trying to make a difference in obstetric and anaesthesia care of pregnant women. I have now been at Duke for close to 20 years. Somehow, I have been fortunate to have great bosses who have given me the chance to flourish and even now, I still have them.
Africa is home. It just is. You find yourself there. Its always the simple things that touch you. Its the small things that make a difference. Love, Light, Life, God....These are the things that count for me.
So, with the Fulbright, I am hoping I can add to people wherever I go, demonstrate being a good partner, a good mentor, a good listener, a good contributor....I do have an extensive experience in Africa. And in the High income countries as well. Born in England and living in the US. I want to build the bridges between the two worlds.

A family man. As a Christian, i felt I was always meant to be an encourager. I am always learning. Hope those of you who look in, will see something that will give you a lift in this blog. Thank you.
